Who we are
The Taunus International Montessori School, founded in 1973, is a private school for 18 months – 6 year old children. TIMS is located close to the northern suburbs of Frankfurt at the foothills of the Taunus hills in Oberursel, Germany, 15 minutes from the Frankfurt city centre.
TIMS is an international, English speaking school with three groups of children mixed in age between 3 and 6 years and one group of toddlers, ages 18 months to 3 years. The school day runs from 8.30 am to 3 pm. (Drop-off at 08:00 a.m. possible if needed.)
The school is operated by a registered non-profit association of parents. In accordance with its charter, the purpose of the school is to provide education and cultural instruction for children within a Montessori framework and to prepare them for subsequent schooling in the international community. All religions and races have equal rights at the school.
