Children are encouraged to work on basic writing, reading and math skills as well as what Montessori calls the "Cosmic Education" about the child's world. The curriculum, the special projects and activities offered are all finely tuned to welcome our young children into the fascinating land of learning. The warm and loving school atmosphere accompanied by the multi-cultural environment completes the ideal vision of education for young, happy children.
In addition to the wide variety of Montessori materials the children use every day, TIMS provides Montessori-oriented programs in music, theater, physical education, Yoga and German language learning. Special staff members are employed for these lessons by TIMS.
Children are also taken on nature walks and on field trips to galleries, shops, markets and special events. The TIMS Summer House program offers children a chance to continue Montessori learning and participate in special activities such as outdoor cooking, theatrical performances, swimming and nature projects.
Afternoon activities/ Extra activities
For those children who would like additional activities, we offer gym, music, drama, art class, cooking lessons and ballet classes after school.
