This is what our families say:
“TIMS is an amazing Kindergarten and pre-school! The teachers in the toddler group feel like family. They know every child’s rhythm and comfort them with genuine care. The high level of transparency and motivation they engage with us parents is outstanding. Our son runs into their arms every morning — that tells you everything. It’s rare to find a school where both parents and children feel this much trust.”
“It was the best choice to send our German kids to TIMS. We loved seeing them grow up in this wonderful place. Learning English through play was a great gift for them — something they will carry with them for life.”
“Our son used to attend a local daycare, but we were not happy there because there were constant staffing problems, strikes, and other issues that often resulted in reduced care hours or even sudden closures. Since both parents work, it was always a challenge to organize childcare and work on such short notice.
At home, we speak German and Spanish, and we wanted to give our son the opportunity to learn English at an early age to make learning easier for him later on. We looked at the options and decided on TIMS, and it turned out to be a very good decision. Our son joined TIMS at the age of three without knowing any English.
The welcome was very warm, and the adjustment period only lasted just two weeks. He felt comfortable from the very beginning. He comes home happy from kindergarten and tells us about the things he does there. He has friends from different cultures. We have also seen how he has started speaking English, and his vocabulary is constantly growing.
In addition, the kindergarten is reliable. They have a yearly calendar with all activities, the closing days are clearly defined, and we have never had any issues with availability. They have substitute teachers who step in if any of the regular teachers are absent.
TIMS has been a wonderful experience for our whole family.”
“When we moved from Denmark to Germany in January 2024, finding the right school for our three girls felt like the biggest piece of the puzzle. From the very first day at TIMS, we knew we had found something special.
With our daughters in three different classes, we naturally got to know so many of the teachers, staff, and families. Very quickly, the school stopped feeling like “just a school” and started feeling like a community – almost like an extended family. We were welcomed with such warmth and openness that settling into a new country felt far less overwhelming than we had expected.
What we loved most was the international spirit. Cultural celebrations throughout the year, summer parties, Christmas gatherings, and relaxed coffee mornings created space for real connection between families. It wasn’t just about the children being in school – it was about all of us belonging.
Now that we’ve moved back home after two years, we truly realise what a difference it made to be part of such a strong and caring community. We miss it – and the people – every single day.
Thank you to all the amazing teachers for having had such a positive impact on our girls’ education and personalities.”
“Moving to Germany from Dubai with 2 toddlers was overwhelming, but TIMS made it feel like home. The teachers welcomed our daugthers with so much warmth that they settled faster than we ever imagined. We also got to meet many like minded families during summer BBQs, the Christmas concert and other community events. It’s not just childcare; it’s a caring community that understands what families like ours needs. I would highly recommend TIMS. The home away from home.”
