Kindergarten Groups
Our Kindergarten Groups welcome children aged 3 to 6 into mixed-age Montessori classrooms where independence, social learning and curiosity grow every day.
Three mixed-age Montessori groups
TIMS offers three Kindergarten Groups for children from 3 years to school age. Mixed-age learning is an important part of Montessori education: younger children learn by observing older children, while older children develop confidence and responsibility by helping younger classmates.
A rich prepared classroom
Each classroom includes Montessori materials for practical life, sensorial learning, language, mathematics, culture and creative exploration. Children choose purposeful work, repeat activities, build concentration and progress at their own pace.
Social confidence and independence
Kindergarten children learn to manage routines, communicate with peers, care for shared materials and solve small problems with increasing independence. Teachers guide social development with respect and consistency.
Preparation for the next school step
TIMS helps children build the skills they need for international schools, primary schools and future learning environments: attention, confidence, language, self-regulation, curiosity and a positive attitude towards learning.
Weekly enrichment
Kindergarten children take part in weekly enrichment such as German, music and physical education. Optional afterschool activities may offer additional opportunities for sports, languages, science and creative learning depending on the current programme.
